Sorrawee Nattee, itki onnesta tultuaan valituksi Thaimaan tämän vuoden kauneimmaksi transuksi. Sorawee vei kruunun Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009 kilpailussa Pattayalla, peitoten 29 muuta ladyboyta. Voittaja sai uuden Hondan ja 100 000 bahtia rahaa.

Kilpailua seurasi suorana televisioiden ääressä noin 15 miljoonaa ihmistä. Thaimaalaisten suhtautuminen transeksuaaleihin on vapaampaa kuin länsimaissa, kisoihin osallistutaan ja seurataan yhtä tosissaan kuin perinteisempiä kauneuskilpailuja.

Kilpailun järjesti Tiffanys Show Pattaya, joka on omien sanojensa mukaan maailman suurin transu kabaree.
